EVENTS

Whether you're new to River Hills or have been part of our family for years, our events create opportunities for authentic connection and spiritual growth.

Youth Game Night

Calling all middle and high schoolers! Mark your calendars for Youth Game Night on Wednesday, April 22nd from 5:00 to 9:00 PM. This is a night designed just for you: a chance to hang out, have fun, and connect with friends in a relaxed environment. We'll have tabletop games, ping pong, foosball, a video game room, and even karaoke for those brave enough to grab the mic! Food will be available too! Pizza slices are just $2, and we'll have snacks and drinks on hand. This event is open to anyone who has graduated from our 5th grade program, and you're absolutely welcome to bring friends! Whether you're a regular or checking us out for the first time, we'd love to see you there. Want to help make this night happen? We're looking for adult volunteers (18+) who are interested in chaperoning. It's a great way to invest in our students and be part of building community.

Highway Cleanup

Be part of caring for God's creation! Join us on Saturday, April 25th at 8:00 AM as we clean up our adopted portion of Highway B. As the old saying goes, "More hands make light work," and we'd love to have you be part of this simple act of service to our community and creation. We'll meet at the church for a quick orientation, then head out together to do the work. We'll provide vests, bags, and everything else you need. Just bring yourself and a willingness to serve. This is a great opportunity for families, individuals, or anyone who wants to spend a morning making a tangible difference. We do this regularly throughout the year, so if you can't make it this time, there will be more opportunities to join us. Sign up using the links provided so we know you're coming!

Partner Meeting

If you've been around River Hills for a while, or if you want to know more about how we operate as a church, mark your calendars! Our next Partner Update meeting is Sunday, April 26th at 11:00 AM, right after second service. This one is in-person only: we don't have a virtual option for that yet! Your presence is important to us. We hope you can make it! If you have a question you would like addressed at this or future meetings, please submit it in advance to ask@riverhillschurch.org.

Pizza With the Pastor

New to River Hills Church or still getting to know us? We'd love to invite you to Pizza with the Pastor on Sunday, May 17th at 11:15 AM. This is a relaxed, informal gathering designed specifically for newcomers: a chance to meet our pastor, ask questions, hear more about who we are and what we believe, and connect with others who are exploring River Hills. We'll provide the pizza (it's right there in the name!), and you bring your curiosity. Whether you've been visiting for a few weeks or just checking us out, this is a great opportunity to go deeper, get to know our community, and see if River Hills might be the right fit for you. No pressure, no expectations. Just good food, honest conversation, and a warm welcome. We hope you'll join us!

Movement to Music

Starting back up on March 17th! Join Jill Bowser on Tuesdays at 9:00 AM for a fun, beginner-friendly fitness class that combines movement with worship music. Jill has taught fitness classes for years and is passionate about helping people stay active in a welcoming, no-pressure environment. This class is designed for all fitness levels and includes both cardio and strength training, so bring weights of your choice (or cans of soup work great too!). Moving our bodies is an important part of staying healthy, and doing it together makes it even better. Whether you're looking to build strength, get your heart rate up, or simply connect with others while you move, this class is for you. No experience necessary. Just come ready to have fun and move to the music!
