What do you do when the man who murdered your father becomes your brother?

In this message from the Rooted and Grounded series through Ephesians, we enter chapter 3 and the mystery Paul couldn't stop writing about from prison: that God's grace has no natural boundaries. The people you'd least expect, the ones written off, hated, or considered beyond reach, are heirs together with everyone else. Not because God is a universalist, but because God is not willing that any should perish, and he will use any story, any tragedy, any circumstance to make that plain.

The man who speared and slashed missionary Nate Saint to death in the Amazon eventually wrapped his arms around Nate's son. The widows of the murdered missionaries went back in to finish what their husbands started. A tribe that had never heard the name of the God they already sensed in corn and stone ax heads found out he had marked a trail. And the question Paul keeps circling back to is the same one the Auca elder put in the plainest possible terms: when you get to the end of your trail, is your name marked there?
