Everything We Need

April 19, 2026

What if God never asks you to do something without also giving you everything you need to do it?

In this message from Exodus 35, we explore how the same principle that guided Israel through the wilderness applies to River Hills today. As the church navigates a major transition, the story of the tabernacle becomes surprisingly practical: God provides time and rest, material resources, and skills and abilities, often through people you'd never expect to have exactly what's needed.

But there's a fourth thing, maybe the most important one. The text keeps returning to it: "those whose hearts were stirred." Enthusiasm isn't just a feeling or a personality type. The word itself comes from the Greek for "filled with God," and the Israelites demonstrated it so completely that Moses had to tell them to stop giving. That kind of generosity and energy isn't manufactured. It's a response to something God puts in motion.
