Where you put your roots determines everything. The question is whether you're reaching toward what you can't keep or what you can never lose.

In this message from the Rooted and Grounded series through Ephesians, Paul falls to his knees mid-letter and prays one of the most dense and beautiful prayers in Scripture: that you would be strengthened with power in your inner being, rooted and established in love, and filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. Not filled with knowledge, with status, with certainty about every theological question. Filled with the love of Christ, which surpasses all of that anyway. And when that happens, Paul says God is able to do immeasurably more than anything you'd think to ask for.
